The J.R. Kuntz Company, a manufacturers' representative, was founded in 1949 by J. Robert Kuntz. The company represents manufacturers of machine components, special cutting tools and accessories, automation and assembly machines, special metal cutting machinery and state of the art computer controlled machinery.

The company markets products and services in the southern two-thirds of Ohio and Indiana, as well as the entire commonwealth of Kentucky.

In 1983, the company was purchased from Mr. Kuntz by Larry Peters, a long time employee of the company. At the present time, there are nine sales engineers who call on machine builders, tool shops, and production manufacturing plants. The Wenger Road facility has a total of 7200 square feet of which 3080 square feet is a high bay shop area.
